The 12 Blogs of Christmas…..
With the big day less than two weeks away, joining the “12 Days of….” bandwagon seemed like a fun one to jump onto.
Now, to be pedantic, the real 12 days of Christmas begin on the 25th of December, but like you, we'll be enjoying some downtime with friends and family, so forgive us for this early rendition.
In the famous song, which we think we are familiar with, a variety of gifts are given by the receivers true love. But did you know that the song, like whiskey and bourbon, has been through various iterations, and many countries historically have their own version?

What’s next?
Looking forward to 2025 and ongoing whiskey and bourbon content, we have some really interesting articles coming up. Alongside deep dives into new distilleries we partner with, we’ll also take a look at:
The announcement made by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) regarding American Single Malt Whiskey; this final ruling will bring protection and promotion to American Single Malt (ASM). We are looking forward to diving into this and speaking with our partners to hear their take on this ruling.
Further innovations within the sector, including sustainability, ready to drink (RTD), and even no/low spirits.
Of course, we'll continue with various themes related to whiskey and bourbon production, including a focus on techniques, ingredients, people, and history.
Lastly, and not least, there is still time to treat yourself to your own whiskey or bourbon through us. Our brilliant advisors are on hand to help guide you through the process. Who knows, you may be bottling your own amber liquid this time next year!
So go forth and enjoy a wonderful festive season. Eat,drink, make cocktails, and pair foods (we have blogs on that, too!!), and we'll see you in January 2025.
