Barrel Global is overjoyed to offer barrels from Kentucky’s Green River distillery, one of Kentucky’s most historic distilleries.

Green River was founded in 1885 and was regarded as some of the best to come out of Kentucky then. Sadly, fire and Prohibition took their toll on the then-extremely popular brand. Now, over a century later, the distillery has been fully restored to its former glory and was recently purchased by the ever-popular Bardstown Bourbon Company. With demand for Kentucky bourbon at an all-time high, this acquisition by such a successful brand shows the potential of the Green River brand, distillery, and, of course, liquid.
